On the release of SC2, I will immediately begin work on Mythos Dyne. The idea I had for it with BW would have never really worked out because of some problems with the AI and lag conditions. However, SC2 has already shown me that it will have no problem supporting what I need for the map.
The map will essentially, be a small sized map where you defend survivors of a world wide attack by creatures based off those from the Cthulhu Mythos, which are plenty in number as it is.
There will be an immense amount of gameplay hidden in the smallest corners, events happening all around you and the game is aimed at infinite replay value as the entire system I am going to build it with, will be randomized. One game, the attack will start in place and the next game, somewhere entirely different.
Look forward to it, I expect to have the first version's release within the month of SC2's own release.
