Server move bugs/errors

• Please leave feedback and bug reports about the recent server move here..

  Known bugs:

  Avatar uploads broken - fixed
  Not able to change avatar - not fixed
  Rating a map gives (big) error - fixed
  Contact form doesn't work - fixed
  Larger uploads produced error - fixed
  Map preview not showing up after upload - fixed (damn.., that was tricky)
  Cannot set custom title - not fixed (need verification ?, I can set a custom title just fine)
  download counter doesn't count - not a bug, just the cache
  Correct realm display (non-beta) - fixed (may need to delete and add your realm in your profile)
  hide ads shop feature not working - fixed, level 10 users can buy this and disable ads all over the site now

• Map Previews Missing - 1/2/2011:

  New maps being uploaded to the StarCraft & Brood War section of the site show no preview, and have yet to gain one. Started happening after the server move.

• Mag, the Avatars are still broken, it's not possible to change an existing avatar. Is this intentional?

• No, added it to my todo list.

  Been hammering the last few hours on getting map previews working for SC and SC2 first, that's the most important one atm. I narrowed it down and know what the problem is with those, only the solution to it is a little tricky to implement.. (need to install a piece of software with a certain option that's a sucker to install)

  Once that's done I'll tackle the avatars.

• Have you noticed the download's counter doesn't work? I downloaded a map today and the download counter for all these maps say "0". Anyway, looking forward to the fix(es)! Avatar, hmm anybody saw that movie? LOL! ^_^

• The download counter isn't a bug, there's a caching system in place to keep the site fast and speedy, it can take a while for a page to expire from memory so download counts can show up later because of this.

• Ok, the map previews SHOULD work again, this was a very nasty one to hunt down. I'll see if I can auto-generate any missing previews..

  But uploading a new version will generate a new preview

  edit: can't autogenerate them at this point, I need to tweak something on the server side but I'm afraid it'll break the preview generation again. So I'm leaving it for now. Just upload a new version to generate it..

• Yeah almost (still seeing a few beta's left and right), been chatting a bit with dcramer. He gave some pointers on how to fix those :)

• I just noticed that the 'Replays' link at the top of the page wasn't showing. I just fixed it and cleaned out a bunch of useless replays..

  edit Ah, just noticed why.., it's broken as of a certain patch. I'm working in the background to replace the sc2replay parser with something else :) (http://pypi.python.org/pypi/sc2reader to be exact)
