This map is good. Very good. I would put it high on the list for this contest.
Frozenwolf pointed out that you used rock (I have to assume this is the unmatched terrain he's talking about). Of course, if it didn't match why would blizzard include it? Simple, the terrans have built platforms based on asteroids. I see nothing inappropriate with it except maybe the ramp parts, but that's minor and has no affect on gameplay.
What I would like to point out though is that you used rock vespene instead of the space platform variety. Tisk tisk!
Ya...that's all I got on you. This map is sweet. GJ
very nice design on the map plenty of space for the base, and narrow pathings.
it made me think for a while on how to possition my units when attacking
The doodads aren't bad... I find it hard to place doodads on platform maps because they aren't natural. Textures could use some work though, since you really only have 3 textures and 1 of them doesn't mix. The map is symmetrical, which is good. Main bases are slightly over-sized. Pathing should be good for all races. There is one set of competitive resources per player, so it could use a few more.
Now, the part I've been wanting to mention... this is a terran-built platform (apparent from how the cliffs aren't natural), so why is there dirt on it? Also, the dirt and platform mix looks similar to one of my maps, http://sc2.nibbits.com/maps/project/75675/valadorae-prime. I like the idea though (obviously).
