  • So after much discussion here from the SC users, I've decided to take the site in a [very slightly] different direction.

    Community Updates
    -----------------

    - The community will be able to edit, in a wiki-like fashion, parts of the site. This will require the edit to be approved by the community before it were to go live.
    - Areas would include things like author name, description, and tags.
    - Reporting methods will be added to each map, project, and post. Reports will include things like inappropriate content, spam, as well as a "based on content" flag (possibly).
    - A possible increase in the tag limit.

    Changes to Forums
    -----------------

    - Markdown is now available.
    - Gravatar support has been added.
    - Registered users have had limits increased, and can now edit/delete their own posts.
    - Spam filter has been tweaked slightly again. Seems to be getting rid of a lot of the stupid posting though.
    - Some forums are now shared across multiple games. Currently these are Off-topic and Website.

    StarCraft Maps
    --------------

    - New image generation is coming which also draws units on the map.
    - Better parsing (fix for some map names etc.).
    - A flag for UMS or Melee (automatically parsed).

    Known Issues
    ------------

    - Some maps are not appearing in search results.
