Well, here is where I stand, I had been making Warcraft III maps from the Reign of Chaos world editor for over a year now in the Chinese community of maps. But now I wish to move into this delightful European/US community with both my campaign and multiplayer maps.
Problem is that most Chinese players look for pure skill in their maps, so a map can be extremely simple but allows the player to show off their skill will be enough to be made popular. But I have noticed that is not really the case in the European/US community. That why I'm looking for some dedicated testers to try out my maps and review/comment on them as I upload them onto this site! :)
Great testers will be noted on the credits at the end of the campaign maps and on the loading screen of the multiplayer maps.
To make things easier, you can simply post your review/comment as a reply to this thread! ^^ Or else email project.zeheroth@gmail.com if you want to become a dedicated tester and get all series maps before anyone else!
I had just uploaded a skeleton of the first map I made for the European community! The link is provided below and it was uploaded onto this site. Looking forward to any feedback good people! :)
Im making my first 'elite' map in the European market for the next map....would especially look forward to ur opinions for that once i finish it....especially regarding the difficulty....i keep getting it either too hard or too easy :(
I definitely look forward to any feedback regarding this map....im sure there are aspects i could improve on....i would especially appreciate feedback on the difficulty....notice i did mention this map was MEANT to be hard as its an 'elite' map...but if u think ur pro player but still cant beat it....then let me know....the fastest tester record was on 4 tries lol....and he seems very good lol ^^
anyways....hope to get feedback! but if i dont! not to worry...just hope u enjoy the map for what its worth ^^
Edit: Turns out fastest tester record was 2 tries.
Right....once again thanks for all your help and suggestions...i hope some may appreciate how the maps keep changing in style...its all because of ur contributions...so thanks! :)
Ok so i have just finished the last chapter of the HUMAN series....but not the end of the entire series/campaign. This last map is (indeed after much speculation) an 'elite' map...and it is rather difficult and may take a few tries to get through it...remember to save often! lol!
P.S: yes i know lots of u said the map didnt have the 'pull' factor in its overview appearance...but i think its the gameplay that counts :) ....and i did try very hard to balance the role of AI with player...quite difficult...and im still not sure its 100% calibrated correctly :(...but hopefully what ive done is enough for a smooth enough gameplay.
First map of the next race is out...the maps for this race will be in the 'Demon's Call' chapter and hence have 'DC' at the start of each map's name...but the Chapter count will continue.
Ok 2 more maps has been uploaded but I got something special for Chapter XIII, so check it out! ;)
Thanks to all the testers as always...but special appreciation for Phyrnna's music in Chapter XIII...and also to everyone who expressed an interest in helping out with my maps ^^
I had recently managed to get a skilled writer to help me with the storyline of the maps....so later u guys shall see a special storyline writer contributing to the maps.
I've recently managed to get an aspiring professional writer and a professional music maker to join the project.
The current delay with maps is due to the wait for the typed script and continuation of the storyline from the aspiring writer. He's really good, so I'm confident it'll be worth it! ^^
Anyone interested in having your say about the Zeheroth campaigns or would like to pitch in some ideas concerning our in-development AoS style map 'Clash of the Heavens' (CotH), come post your views and like us on Facebook! :)
It's a nice project! :D I just played the Breakout chapter and it was great! :D
I see your CotH project's beta is out. Are you going to go back to making the story maps or are you going to keep working on CotH until the final version comes out?
I wouldn't mind being a tester. Just tell me how I give feedback?
Oh God! D: You're right, geez sorry. I will upload a fixed version now of Demonic Fallout. Thanks for the heads-up!
Thanks for your compliments. At the moment we are working on both CotH and the Zeheroth series simultaneously. We wanted to have a few Zeheroth series maps finished before we go about publishing any new ones.
Well we kinda have an army of people registered with us as testers already. Tell you what, If you want to be tester, email project.zeheroth@gmail.com and someone will get back to you with a new map we are developing soon.
The Zeheroth series has been put on (even) more extended hold for many Team Zeheorth members to finish their university exams.
In the meantime we have collected SOOO MANY contributions, especially in custom music! (I had not known so many great musical artists are in the gaming community :P). A great big 'thank you' to everyone who has given us their music to use or has made us commissions! We only hope our future maps will live up to your great musical standards! :)
Also I might mention that the storyline for the next installment of the Zeheroth series will start to be written by the aspiring writer. So hope people like it! :)
So it has been a long time since Team Zeheroth has churned out a map for its Zeheroth series. Well, wait no longer as the next installment is finally out. The 'Burning Redemption' series allows you to play as the villain Zeheroth himself. This series is not expected to be as long as the DC or 'Demon's Call' series but it should feature some interesting new playstyles and input from many contributors gathered over our period of inactivity.
Ok! So here it is! The finale of the 'Burning Redemption' series.
It is a rare occasion in which we produced two 'elite' maps in a row.
This map is undoubtedly the biggest map in terms of development hours. Lots of time, sweat and tears went into the making of this map. Special thanks to Beatrix and Fr0zEnPh0eNiX for their contributions!
So without further ado, here's the link! Enjoy! :)
Hey good people! hope everything is well!

The Demonic Fallout chapter is bugged I think. Why there is 3 Death Knights?
Oh God! D: You're right, geez sorry. I will upload a fixed version now of Demonic Fallout. Thanks for the heads-up!

Added the next map for the 'Burning Redemption' series. This is the 18th map for the entire Zeheroth series overall. Enjoy! :)
http://wc3.nibbits.com/maps/project/77402/br-chapter-xviii-survival-trail
Right, so I added another two maps in the series.
They are both defensive maps, one involving a convoy: http://wc3.nibbits.com/maps/project/77442/br-chapter-xix-convoy-backlash
And another involving a fortress (as the title suggests). This map is an 'elite' map, and should contain a pretty long gameplay time. Here's the link: http://wc3.nibbits.com/maps/project/77446/br-chapter-xx-fortress-elite
Have fun! :)
